The Savannah real estate market has a higher % of single family homes under $500,000 than Charleston does.

I will be doing a blog series comparing and contrasting the Savannah and Charleston, SC real estate markets as they have similar offerings, however, the Savannah market has a higher % of single family homes under $500,000 than Charleston does.

Charleston

In January there were 2,980 single family homes for sale. Of these: 1,592 are below $500,000. or 53.4% of the total market.

Savannah

In January, there were 2,067 single homes for sale. Of these: 1,428 are below $500,000 or 69% of the single family homes for sale.
